The Presidents Race at the Nationals Park [#13]

I don’t know you, but I’m perfectly capable of standing a two-hour long ball game, dealing with the overpriced hot dogs and overcoming my fear of crowds – just to attend the Presidents’ Race at the Nationals Park. Watching Teddy’s trickeries makes me laugh out loud. It makes me happy. It transports me to a timeless state where I am a kid forever.

Here’s a shout-out to the creative people behind the Presidents mascots (and the fans, like the site Let Teddy Win), that have motivated me to learn more about them.

This postcard celebrates baseball season’s opening week, and welcomes the new racing President Herbert Hoover “Herbie” with his creepy eyes.
