Right in the nation’s capital, a green jewel extends without equal. Washingtonians know Rock Creek Park secrets well. With its great patches of vegetation and silent trails, it is a constant reminder that we share this earth, and this city, with other creatures large and small. In this week’s postcard, a deer passes Boulder Bridge, constructed in 1902 above the Rock Creek (a tributary of the Potomac River).
