Kogod Courtyard [#88]

The Kogod Courtyard at the Smithsonian American Art Museum / Portrait Gallery is one of my favorite spots in the city. The glass canopy designed by Sir Norman Foster covers over 28,000 square foot with 864 panels and is one of Washington’s largest indoor public spaces. In the illustration, a kid splashes her feet on the water.
